Hong Kong MTR Development Map

This map aims to portray the extent of Hong Kong’s MTR network, and its unique arrangement in that the MTR authority would have real estate development control over area surrounding the station. This is the first complete map I made with the topic of my choosing. In making this map, I learnt to use ArcGIS Pro and Adobe Illustrator, and the whole workflow of making a paper map with customized layers. I also experienced finding data on my own, which was the hardest part for me, as it wasn’t immediately clear where to locate the data in the first place. This map is made as a final project for Cartography class at Penn State.
